| Platoons consist of three staff members. 1 Platoon Leader, and up to 2 Platoon Assistants. Platoons also have up to 8 squads assigned. The purpose of Platoons is to keep the squads organized, as well as overseeing them.
Platoon Leader is charged with managing the Platoon and supervising the squads performance. The Platoon leader's job is to oversee the Squads within his platoon and make sure that it is being operated properly.
The Platoon assistant is charged with assisting the Platoon Leader as well as attending a minimum of 2 Squad Practices/Match Nights a week to ensure Squad Staff is operating properly. The Platoon assistant is to report any negative findings to the Platoon leader for further investigation.
The Platoon staff will attend an Advisory Panel meeting once a week, this panel will also be attended by other prominent members of TAGs high staff (i.e. Website manager, Ladder Manager). During this meeting they will discuss topics such as overall Platoon health, the health of individual squads, recruiting, upcoming staff promotions, ladder management as well as other political and financial aspects of TAG.
While Platoon staff and Advisory panel members do not participate in match night they are encouraged to assist squads with practices when needed. However if a squad does not need their assistance the squad leader has the permission to politely request the high staff to back out of the lobby when the in-game portion of their practice begins.
Advisory panel meetings will be held at 8pm eastern on Sunday nights. | |
