Assessment Squads are the "recruit filtration" system for The Art of Gaming. Their purpose is to keep gamers who are not fit for TAG out.
When a gamer is approved for membership in TAG, he is placed in an Assessment Squad. He will be a member of this squad until he attends six practices. In these practices he will be informed on TAG's overall agenda, the purpose of Assessment Squads & Regular Squads, As well as practice and match nights.
He will experience a simulation of practice/match night and play against his fellow squad members whom are also being Assessed.
All Assessment Squad members are being watched closely by the respective Squad Staff (SS) in charge of the practice. The SS will rate each member on a 1-10 scale their performance in that nights practice in areas ranging from player maturity to player skill. All of which will be averaged into a composite rating at graduation.
